Opening the Energy Gates of the Body
Posture and
Movements
- The Outer
Dissolving Process is
a concentrated use of the mind's intent
and focused conscious thought to break
up and release energetic blockages away
from the body. This practice is taught
in a standing posture.
- A simple
and graceful movement,
Cloud Hands integrates the body, teaches
it to move as one and activates the field
of energy in the etheric body. The twisting
of the body's tissues during Cloud Hands
promotes the circulation of fluids and
the release of tension.
- An array
of Three Swings
energizes the three main energetic
centers of the body. These centers are
referred to in Traditional Chinese Medicine
as the lower, middle and upper burners.
- The Spinal
Stretch leads to the ability
to control the movement of each spinal
vertebra. This increase in spinal mobility
results in the releasing of tension and
decrease of back and neck pain.

This series
of chi gung exercises includes
the Standing/Dissolving process and five
moving practices. The material teaches how
to safely dissolve energy blocks throughout
the body. With emphasis on the downward
flow of energy, practitioners will learn
to open up their energy gates through body
alignments that allow chi to flow. All of
the practices in Energy Gates help to strengthen,
energize and heal the body, relieve stress
and settle the nervous system.
The skills developed
while learning the 'Opening the Energy Gates
of the Body' chi gung set will enable the
practitioner to experience their internal
landscape and better understand the connection
between internal health and the external
environment while releasing subtle tensions
throughout their body/being. These tools
will enhance all other energetic practices
and movement arts. |

Dissolving
Standing
is the process of quieting down
the body and feeling with the mind tension
trapped in its being and gently releasing
it by using focused conscious thought to
break up and release energetic the blockages.
Releasing these subtle
tensions can do wonders for general
health and well being. |

Cloud Hands
Many
Chi Gung systems
and the internal martial arts of Tai Chi,
Hsing I and Ba Gua all include principals
learned during the practice of Cloud Hands.
This simple, graceful
movement connects the upper body
to the lower body, integrating the whole
body and teaching it to move as one.
The twisting of the
body's tissues during Cloud Hands
activates the field of energy in the etheric
body, and promotes the circulation of fluids
and the release of tension.
Cloud Hands
contains all of the stretching, turning,
bending and twisting motions that make Tai
Chi such an effective healing art. |
| |
Spine Stretch
This
spinal stretch can be used
as a serious rehabilitative exercise for
spinal injuries or as preventive maintenance
to prevent degenerative back ailments by
keeping the spine healthy and energized.
The Spinal Stretch
is a unique movement in that it
gently creates space between the individual
vertebrae of the spine.
The Spinal Stretch
leads to the ability to control
the movement of each spinal vertebra. This
increase in spinal mobility results in the
releasing of tension and decrease of back
and neck pain. |

and close the joints and tissues of their
body. The Opening and Closing of the body,
referred to as 'pulsing', is one of the
biggest underlying principals of all phenomenon.
This chi gung emphasizes pulsing and attunes
the practitioner to one the greatest rhythms
of the universe.
The
skills developed while learning
The Marriage of Heaven and Earth chi gung
set will enable the practitioner to experience
their
internal landscape and better understand
